 Letecia, Gannon, and his 8 year old sister go hiking at Garden of the Gods.  This is a common activity they do together as evidenced by past photos posted on Letecia's now deleted Facebook Page.  The photos seen below are of Gannon hiking on that day at the Garden of The Gods.  The photos were posted online by Letecia.  

 10:37 a.m. - Text message sent to Letecia's daughter from Gannon's phone, stating "Tecia left her phone at home if you need her txt me."

11:22 a.m. Letecia makes a purchase at Petco on N. Nevada Ave.  She purchases 3 dog coats. She is alone inside the store but is noticed by workers to be looking out the front window towards where she would have been parked.  

12:06 p.m. - Al Stauch sends text message to Gannon's phone - "Hey Buddy"

1:21 p.m. . - Gannon's phone responds to a test from the phone of Al Stauch - "Can I play Zelda at least"   Al responds with - "Not Today"

1:22 p.m. - Letecia makes a second purchase at Petco on N. Nevada Ave. She is alone in the store.

1:43 p.m. - Gannon's phone searched - "Can my parent find my sell phone if it's off"  (authorities believe Letecia made this search) 

2:19 pm. - Letecia and Gannon return home,  (this is the first movement detected by the ADT security sensors inside the home since 10:16 am)  Letecia's daughter is at work and Gannon's sister is at school at this time. 

2:45 p.m. - Letecias iPhone is unlocked.

3:15 pm. - Letecia makes claims this is the last time she saw Gannon as he was leaving the home to go play with friends.  She claims he was told to return by 6pm.   When Gannon's sister returns home from school she is told that Gannon is sleeping and is sent outside to play.

3:30 - 3:42 - Security video in the neighborhood shows Gannon's sister outside riding her bike.
3:31 - 4:20 p m - Several text messages between Letecia and Al Stauch and Letecia and her daughter.  

3:55 p.m. - Al Stauch texts Gannon's phone - "Hey Buddy" - the text is not seen until 7:40 p.m. (it is believed by officials Gannon was already deceased at this time.

4:42 p.m. - Letecia's daughter arrives home from work where she had been since about 830 am that day.  She picks up Gannon's sister in her white Jetta and they leave. 

4:52 pm - Letecia send a text message to her daughter that reads "carpet powder 2 things, baking soda, trash bags" 

5:14 pm. - a receipt shows the purchase of trash bags, baking soda, vinegar and other items at a local dollar store.   The receipt was later found in Letecia's car.  

6:55 p.m. - :Letecia calls 911 to report Gannon missing. 

10:09 pm - deputies respond to the home and are unable to locate Gannon Stauch.  Letecia reports him as a runaway.  At this time deputies noticed Letecia's car, a Volkswagen Tiguan was backed into the garage.  Deputies did enter Gannon's bedroom and noticed nothing alarming at the time. (later the body cam footage would be compared to photos taken in the room earlier in the day and it would be noticed the sheets on the bed were different and the bed appeared to be moved away from the wall) 

On Monday January 27, 2020 the following google searches were made from Letecia's phone:

 5:14 am - Letecia has a text conversation with a babysitter concerning Gannon being missing. 

8:30 am - Letecia rents a 2019 Kia Rio from the Avis Car rental near the airport in Colorado Springs.  She tells Al it is so that they can search for Gannon in a car he won't recognize.  You an see the budget rental reciept below.  

 8:48 am - Letecia texts her daughter to pull her car (a white Volkswagen Jetta) into the garage. 

8:50 am. - Letecia picks up Al Stauch at COS Airport, they stop at King Sooper's, Wendy's, and then head back to their home in Lorsen Ranch.  Al is returning from training with the National Guard. 

12:57 pm - Leteica searches from her phone - "Can Nintendo find my switch" 

4:04-4:17 pm - Officials ask Letecia Stauch for Gannon's toothbrush so they can have his DNA to assist with their investigation.

4:19 pm - Letecia Texts Al Stauch

LS - "They are asking for our sons toothbrush but said nothing is wrong"

AS- "Who, The police?"

LS- "Yes they asked for toothbrushes"

AS- " Hmm, what do you think they are hiding?"

7:00 pm - Letecia picks up her Volkswagen Tiguan that she left earlier in the morning at COS airport short term parking lot.    A receipt timestamped 7:02 shows Letecia leaving the COS Airport in the Tiguan. 

Between 7:02 pm to 12:00 am - This is when investigators believe Letecia used the Tiguan to rid herself of  the remains of Gannon Stauch. 

Between 8:30 pm and 10:20 pm - The Tiguan onboard data showed it was in the area of Hwy 105/Perry Park Road in Douglas County Colorado.  AT 9:16 pm the car drives into a rural area nea4r highway 105 and leaves that rural area at 9:28 pm - It is noted that authorities believe Letecia's daughter was at the Lorsen Ranch home at this time (her cellular phone placed her there) 

10:26 pm - Letecia's daughter leaves the Lorsen ranch home and picks up Letecia  near Powers and Carefree

10:45 pm - Letecia texts investigators with the following statement:

"What do you want from me? Because I have nothing.  One of your very own leaked to me what you guys were doing.  I did nothing / or am being set up.  I'm not really even sure other that being told that by another blue with El Paso.  I was told I couldn't go home to sleep and on top of that men were sent to a home with a minor female and she was forced to stay there not to even have good.   Every conversation that said even at this moment I can hear inside.  What do you want from me?"

Detective Bethel responded with: "Come talk to me.  I would just like information to find Gannon." 

On Tuesday January 28, 2020 The following google searches were made from Letecia's phone:

9:00 am - The rented Kia Rio is returned.  Letecia was picked up by the white Jetta, it is assumed by her daughter who owned the Jetta. 

11:30 a.m. - Security video catches the Volkswagen Tiguan belonging to Letecia Stauch at the car wash with what could be blood on the back bumper of the car. 

12:00 p.m. - Letecia arrives for an interview with El Paso detectives, she is 2 hours late. 

She brought to the interview several pages of notes.  Her car was noticed to be wet. 

During the interview Leteica made several claims:

She was held at gunpoint and raped by a Hispanic male named Eguardo and Gannon was abducted by this man after the attack

Claims Eguardo was in basement when they returned on the 27th which allowed her to see Gannon's sister after she returned from school. 

Claims the rape happened between the hours of 3:30 pm and 4:30 p.m.

Claims she may have blacked out after hitting her head

Claims Gannon jumped on the back of the attacker

Claims that the attacker threw Gannon across the room then held him at gunpoint and demanded a suitcase and a cardboard box.

Claims she then cleaned up the area of the attack.

She was then offered a rape exam, which she turned down.

Her phone is then siezed.

At the end of the interview Leteica stuffs tissues down her pants while claiming shortness of breath and chest pains.  She is transported to a hospital and leaves the hospital without telling investigators. 

Her Volkswagen Tiguan is seized. 

She was then picked up by someone unknown and was seen meeting up with her daughter several miles away.

On this date but at unknown times:

Investigators find carpet brushes in the dishwasher at the Stauch home. They have suspected carpet fibers on them. 

Investigators located an empty gallon of vinegar

Letecia rents a 2020 Nissan Ultima, Investigators placed a GPS tracking device on the rental car. 

2:14 p.m. - Leteica Stauch texts a woman named Nichole, believed to possibly be the owner of the rental home.  "When we came back inside from the smoke there was blood on both of us.  I didn't know what to do.  I was scared I would get (unknown word) out about it and I don't know if he should go to the doctor.  I kept trying to add the candle thing but Albert kept saying it was small and minor.  I was scared the basement was smoky and when I threw the cover everything we both had blood.

You don't understand how it is to be a stepmom."

4:16 pm thru 5:13 pm - Letecia goes back to Douglas County (in the rented Nissan Ultima) near Hwy 105/Perry Park Road.

Investigators believed at the time the AA was written she went back to ensure Gannon's remains could not be seen near the road and that evidence of his body had been covered up.   It is now believed that may have been when she retrieved his remains to transport them to the location they would eventually be found in Pace, FL.

It was on this date that she gave Journalist Spencer Wilson an interview.  She spoke of how she was asked to leave her home, and how she expected an apology when Gannon was found for all the things said about her.   She was traveling with a moving van.  It is suspected she may have left for South Carolina after this interview along with her daughter Harley. 

 Detectives find possible traces of blood on the rear of the Tiguan, a rear passenger seat, a front passenger seat, and in the area near the glove box.  

 The investigation continued over the next few weeks.  Here are some key things that happened:
Detectives continue to search the Stauch home.  Blue Star was used and found the presence of blood in Gannon's bedroom, the hallway leading to the utility room,  the utility room, the staircase leading upstairs, pathway to the garage and inside the garage.
The blood in Gannon's room had seeped though the carpet, the carpet pad, and stained the concrete below.  Blood spatter and stains were also located on the wall in this area. Fifty droplets of blood were found on the wall near Gannon's bed. Gannon's mattress had a red stain. Suspected blood was found behind a electrical socket next to Gannon's bed.
Experts say the blood spatter was caused by either a gunshot, stabbing or blunt force.
On the 12th of February investigators began to hone in and really focus on the search efforts in Douglas County. 

 Investigators begin to monitor the phone calls between Letecia Stauch and her then husband Al Stauch.
Letecia on this date stated that Gannon was burned with a candle to the point his skin bubbled, and Gannon peeled the scabs and wiped the blood on the wall in his bedroom.
Al had not asked Letecia about the blood at this time. She offered this up unprompted.  

 Phone calls between Letecia Stauch and Al Stauch show that she continued to change the stories she has told about what happened that day.  4 more stories came to light.
1.  That when the El Paso Sheriff came to the house to take the runaway report the attacker was still in the house and she tried to tell them he was there.  El Paso did check the home and no persons were located.
2. She was raped by Quincy Brown at  the home and after the attack he abducted Gannon.  She claims she saw a paper with his name on it that fell out of his pocket and that is how she knows who he is. She sent a photo of Quincy Brown with the text to Al Stauch.
3. Quincy followed her home from the Petco on N Nevada Ave.  She claims he was lying in the roadway in front of her and she stopped to avoid hitting him at which time he jumped into her car and abducted her making her take him to the Lorsen Ranch home.
4. The last claim made on this date is that Letecia and Gannon were in the area of County Line Rd and Hwy 105 in N EL Paso county and Gannon was riding his bike. She claims he fell, hit his head, and was then abducted by Quincy Brown who was being driven by a mystery man named Terrance.
She tells investigators that searches in the area of Hey 105 would be "futile"
It should be noted that Quincy Brown is  one of the Most wanted fugitives in that area and his photo had recently been shown in a lineup of Pike's peak most wanted fugitives.  

Investigators continue the search near highway 105/Perry Park Road.  A piece of particle board with a blood stain was found.  The blood profile later matched Gannon Stauch.It is believe the particle board was used while she disposed of Gannon's remains in the area.  
Letecia tells investigators that she told the story about Gannon falling off his bike to Al because " she thought that's what he wanted to hear"
She also tells Al that the blood in Gannon's room is a combination of hers and Gannon's. That the attacker raped both her and Gannon in that room and also that the attacker was still there when El Paso Authorities arrived the day of the alleged attack.
On Sunday February 16, Letecia would admit to Teela Cummings that she gave false stories to Al Stauch because she knows he won't believe anything she says anyways.

 1:52 p.m. - Letecia speaks with Laura Anernathy and states she is considering flying to Colorado and take a lie detector test to prove she is innocent.  She also states that "they think I am still in Colorado" (Its assumed the they she speaks of refers to investigators)
4:11 p.m. Letecia tells an unknown person that she is going to take a lie detector test, however law enforcement wont be there and it wont be admissible in a court of law.  

10:14 a.m. - Letecia calls phone number 321-247-6876.  This phone number was found to be for fakepolygraph.com

She tells the customer service representative that she never received confirmation for a test that she paid for, the rep stated he would send her an email regarding her issue.

11:16 a.m. Letecia calls back asking about the email that was supposed to be sent to her.  She is told that her report was blocked by management because of the questions that she provided.  He stated that any tests that involve illegal activities the company reserves the right to not send it. 

Detectives were able to obtain the questions that she had asked for from fakepolygraph.com

1. Do you intend to answer these questions regarding your stepson truthfully?  YES

2. Is your birthday August 4, 1983?  YES

3. Did you participate in any way in causing harm to your stepson? NO

4. Did your stepson return with you to your home?  YES

5. Did you participate in any way in causing the death of your stepson?  NO 

It should be noted that at this time Gannon was still missing.  His remains had not yet been found nor had authorities announced any suspicion of death. 

Judge Rafolo in Colorado signs a warrant for the arrest of Letecia Stauch. 

Letecia Stauch is arrested in South Carolina.  

Letecia Stuach attends her extradition hearing in South Carolina, she waives extradition and is not represented by an attorney at the hearing.   The hearing can be seen below. 

Colorado arranges to transport Letecia Stauch by vehicle  from South Carolina.   During Transport she assaulted an officer who had to be hospitalized and was held in a Kansas jail on a courtesy hold.  No charges have been brought forth for that attack on the officer during transport. 

Letecia Attends her first hearing in Colorado and is represented by an attorney.  She appears via video feed from the El Paso County Jail and is dressed in a safety smock.   The hearing was streamed and can be seen below. 

Letecia Stauch attends her advisement hearing with multiple attorneys.  Al Stauch and Landen Hiott are in attendance.   Deputy DA Michael Allen explains the sheer amount of discovery they have and the immense amount of search warrants served in the case.   This hearing was also streamed and can be watched below.
